The cost for grades 5-8 is $30 (not $25 as indicated on the Auction Party RSVP form) and the party is held in the school hall. Thank you and hope to see your child there!

This week in spelling students focused on words ending in -el, -le, -il, and -al. Students reviewed transitions in grammar and categorized them by writing genres. In writing, students finished a rough draft of their persuasive essay. Students will be peer editing these essays and working on their final draft next week.
Reading
I have reminded all 5th graders to check their own PowerSchool for missing assignments, not only in Reading, but for all subject areas. They should work on finishing and turning in any missing assignments. This can positively impact their overall grades.
