We have begun Chapter 10, Tensions Grow Between Great Britain and the Colonies.

In this Chapter, we will be using a Parent/Child Cartoon Metaphor to better understand the Proclamation of 1763, The Quartering Act, The Stamp Act, The Boston Massacre, The Boston Tea Party and the Intolerable Acts. Students will work with a partner to read about each event in history and then relate it to a cartoon metaphor. The test for this chapter will be on April 18th.

Students will learn what makes up the solar system. They will discover how models of the solar system have changed. They will compare the planets and how objects in the solar system affect Earth.
