ELA
Hello HRS families! Next week, we are continuing Genius Hour. At the end of the day on Tuesday (5/27), students should have their final source fully analyzed on their notes document. They may do research at home if they are behind or need more time. We will begin making presentations next week. On Google Classroom, there will be two sample presentations and an outline with directions. Presentations will be due on Friday of next week. Please remember that students should have at least four sources to use on their presentations that are credible, have an author, are relevant, and have a strong point-of-view (if there are strong biases, they should be avoided). I told students they can have one source without an author if it’s from a credible organization. Let me know if you have questions about this project. It’s a ton of fun, and I look forward to seeing presentations. Have a great long weekend!
