Science
Next week students will be continuing the work of aerospace engineers, while learning about how changing variables in parachutes affect fall time. Using this information they will be planning and making parachutes. Students will revisit the Engineering Design Process while working through this unit.
Social Studies
Next week the test for Lesson 6 will be on (1/21) for 5A and (1/22) for 5B. Students should be looking at the study guide which is on Google Classroom to prepare for the test. On Friday 1/24 we will be spending the class period exploring new resources I have put on Google Classroom to practice for the States and Capitals test which will be at the end of May.
ELA
Hello HRS families! Next week, we will continue reading Wonder. I will put assigned reading homework on the matrix. Students have a double-entry journal for part one, on which they need ten quotes for pages 1-80. We will also have a new set of vocab and spelling words on Monday. Have a great weekend!
