Behavior/Learning Expectations: Please take the time to talk to your child about camp. Remind them that camp is considered school, even though they are outdoors.
Wednesday, April 29th: Arrive at school at the normal time. Have your child bring all bags to the school hall. * Please label bedding in a garbage bag with your child’s name! After this is done, have your child report to their classroom for attendance.
Students and Chaperones: Please bring a non-perishable (Nut Free) sack lunch on Wednesday, April 29th. We will be eating lunch when we arrive at camp. ELA
Hello HRS families! For the next two weeks, the priority will be to finish the theme essay. These will be typed in class, but students may prep at home by going through double-entries to look for quotes that support their theme. After camp, we will return to the blue vocab book with a test every two weeks. Students get to look forward to Genius Hour and book clubs as our final projects this year. We will start with Genius Hour when our theme essays are finished and printed, most likely on the week following camp. I hope your children have an excellent camp experience. I know I did when I went to Camp Seymour!
