Students will examine the relationship between photosynthesis and respiration to understand how carbon dioxide and oxygen are cycled through an ecosystem. Students will also learn how living things use nitrogen and how it is cycled through the earth. Students will take a quiz on lessons 3 & 4 in their texts next Friday.

Social Studies

Tomorrow we will begin Chapter 9, Williamsburg Virginia. In this chapter students will learn about several different locations in the town of Williamsburg. We will also be doing a couple of activities together to learn about life in Williamsburg. The test for this Chapter will be on 3/9.

Language Arts

This week students finished up their Travel Brochure projects and worked on Lesson 15. For this mini-project, students chose anywhere in the world that they have traveled to or would like to travel to and researched information about this place. It was so fun to see how students dove into this creative activity! Next week, we will continue working through the Reader’s Notebook with Lesson 16. I will put the spelling words on the website tonight. Have a great weekend!
