Dear 5A Parents,
We had a great week of learning in 5A! Today we had a wonderful retreat for the teachers. The main topic of the retreat was The Beatitudes. We had time to reflect on our faith which is a vital part of our lives and plan for more ways to be evangelists to our students. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

ELA
Hello HRS families! I’m so excited to be back in the classroom and to be teaching language arts to this great group of students. I have picked up where Mrs. Davis left off, and we will continue to both read Number the Stars and work through our spelling book. Next week, we will complete unit 7 in our spelling books, which begins on page 26. We will have our spelling test on Friday of next week, and students can expect homework in their books leading up to the test. We will also read and analyze chapters 5-6 in Number the Stars. I will also get students logged into our language arts Google Classroom next week. I hope you have a great weekend!
