Monday- Lesson 82, Greatest Common Factor
Tuesday-Lesson 83, Properties of Geometric Solids
I hope all of you are able to attend church services during these next three days of the Triduum. This week we learned about the Triduum and we finished up the Stations of the Cross skits.
Students will learn how gasses cycle through an ecosystem. Students will learn how carbon dioxide, oxygen and nitrogen cycle through an ecosystem. Students will review how water cycles through an ecosystem. Students will take a test on Chapter 4 Thursday April 10th.
The fifth graders are currently learning about Chapter 10, Growing Tension between the Colonies and Britain. The students are learning about events such as the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea party, which united the colonists as Americans. Over the break I would like the students to reread the Chapter and study the vocabulary as well as the Interactive notebook.
Language Arts: 5th graders complete final drafts of paragraphs which feature good word choice. Students practice using and punctuation dialogue correctly within the context of writing. Due to Easter Break, there will not be a spelling assignment or test this week.
Enjoy some great books over the vacation Happy Easter!
Reminder: bring in a comic book or two on Monday following the break.
