Dear Fifth Grade Parents,
Next Friday we will be sending home a Mid-Trimester Report Notification form. You will be asked to review your child’s grades on PowerSchool and then sign and return the form.

Science
Students did a fantastic job on their inventions. I saw many creative ideas and products! This week students will learn how all living things are classified.
Students will wrap up their study of cells and the classification of organisms with a quiz on Lessons 1 & 2 Wednesday (2/11).
Social Studies
We will have a test on Chapter 8 on Friday 2/6. Students should complete their Interactive Notebooks by 2/3. Most students finished it is class. Please check PowerSchool over the weekend.
Language Arts
This week the students turned in and presented their research reports. Students reviewed conjunctions and interjections in grammar and began working on a short opinion essay.
